The Beginning (Department)

The community of Judson prior to 2004 did not have designated  fire protection services.  Neighboring agencies worked together with mutual aid contracts to ensure the district was protected.  A group of volunteers and donors came together in 2004 and felt the need to have established Fire Protection, thus created the Department.  We ran our first call July of 2006. Through fundraisers, grants, and dedication our department has thrived.
